The Summit County Office of Minority Health works to eliminate differences in health status between racial and ethnic minority and non-minority populations by providing leadership and guidance on best ways to address racial and ethnic health disparity and specific health needs of racial and ethnic minority groups.
Advisory Council
The Summit County Office of Minority Health works with a three-part advisory council centered on the advancement, protection, and education of Summit County’s minority residents.
Ohio Commission on Minority Health
The Ohio Commission on Minority Health is dedicated to eliminating disparities in minority health through innovative strategies and financial opportunities, public health promotion, legislative action, public policy and systems change.
