Lead Abatement Contractor Information

How to Become a Contractor for the Summit County Lead Hazard Reduction Grant 

  1. Contractors must register with Public Purchase.  All bids are released in Public Purchase.  Please see follow this link for instructions in regards to registering with Public Purchase.
  2. Contractors must provide the following documents to Holly Miller at Department of Community and Economic Devlopement (DOD)
    1. Current Lead Contractor Abatement License of supervisor
    2. Current Lead Abatement workers Licenses for all employees
    3. Current EPA Firm Registration
    4. Current EPA/RRP Certificate
    5. Current Workers Compensation
    6. Current Insurance that matches the limits provided in the attachment
    7. Current registration with Summit County Building Standards
  3. Contractors will be required to meet with SCPH and DOD prior to signing their contract after winning their first bid.
