Summit County Public Health is a proud member of the Summit County Opiate Task Force, a group of key individuals and organizations committed to reducing the tragic consequences of opiate abuse in Summit County through education, collaboration, advocacy, and the wise use of available resources. As an increasing public health problem, the opiate / heroin epidemic has resulted in a dramatic rise in accidental deaths and immeasurable heartache. Working together, we all can play a role in helping to end this lethal epidemic.
