Experts now say that sitting for extended periods of time is just as bad for your health as smoking cigarettes. Get up, stay active, and make a change!

  • Sitting for long periods of time everyday is the #1 risk for chronic disease and illness.

  • Even if you exercise 30 mins a day, it DOES NOT protect you from the harmful effects of sitting for long periods.

  • Most people sit about 10 hours a day and sleep for 7 hours.

Adding some light movement throughout your day can boost your mood and lower your risk of depression and anxiety. Exercising 2 minutes each hour can help you have a healthier body and mind! Here are some easy things you can do throughout the day:
