The WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program allows families on WIC to get $30 in coupons to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables and cut herbs at an approved WIC Farmers' Market. This is an added benefit that is separate from the fruit and vegetable money loaded to the WIC card.
Summit County WIC has set days where staff will be present at the market to pass out the coupons.
- Coupons are given on a first come, first served basis and it is possible coupons may run out before the end of the market.
- Coupons will not be passed out before the start of the market.
- Coupons must be spent during the current year. They cannot be saved to use next year.
- Coupons do not have to be spent all at once. They can be used at any of the participating markets listed below.
- For the 2025 Farmers Market season, families will be eligible to receive one coupon set for the season. Meaning if you received coupons from one market, you cannot go to another market to get more coupons.
For any other questions, please call your WIC clinic.
