SCPH NOT Issuing Free Birth & Death Certificates

It has come to the attention of Summit County Public Health (SCPH) that incorrect information has been circulating on social media stating that we will be issuing free birth and death certificates on Fridays from 2-4 pm. This information is incorrect. Due to state law, we are unable to issue free birth and death certificates to the general public. The fee for all certified birth and death certificates is $22.00 per copy.
Summit County Public Health Vital Statistics hours of operation:
Monday and Thursday
8:00am to 4:45pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
8:00am to 3:30pm
