Drinking Water Testing

The mission of Summit County Public Health is to protect and promote the health of the entire community through programs and activities designed to address the safety, health and well-being of the people who live in Summit County. Our laboratory is certified by the Ohio EPA for chemical and microbiological analysis of drinking water using approved methods.  We provide timely, accurate, and affordable testing for local residents and businesses, as well as, schools and daycare centers. The SCPH laboratory offers a variety of water testing services, including tests for bacteria, lead, copper, arsenic, nitrate and nitrite.  We also subcontract drinking water services out to other Ohio EPA Certified Laboratories for testing not performed in house. Summit County Public Health’s Lab will accept water samples Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am through 5:00pm.  All samples must be delivered to the Water Laboratory located at:
