Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a national, evidenced-based community health program for first time moms. Each mother served is partnered with a registered nurse to receive home visits starting earlier in pregnancy through the baby's second birthday. The specially trained personal nurse will assist first time moms and families become more knowledgeable about pregnancy, labor and delivery. The nurse will also provide knowledge and support around child growth and development and link families to community services and resources.
